Fire and Life Safety is designed to help assist the University community in working together to maintain an environment that reduces the risk of fire hazards. Fire and Life Safety refers to the precautions that are taken to prevent or reduce the likelihood of a fire that may result in death, injury, or property damage.
"The importance of fire safety is a lesson we don't want anyone to learn the hard way. Fire service professionals and students need to work together to make sure everyone has the opportunity to pursue an education in a safe environment."
Wayne Goodwin - State Fire Marshal
